Sample Menu Plan for 1 Week


I have had a lot of requests for sample menus, menu planning, grocery lists, etc. so here you go! (if only I could figure out how to upload files onto here!!!!!)
I added extra detail to increase ease of use my actual menu plan is similar but far less wordy. 

This Week's Menu  

Breakfasts (I try to keep as easy as possible)
Oatmeal (organic oats, not instant) and fruit
Stove top granola with milk or yogurt
Eggs and toast on homemade or Ezekiel bread, ghee or organic butter
For me: Fresh juiced juice or green smoothie

Lunches
PBJ on homemade or Ezekiel bread
Leftovers
Soup 
Black beans and basmati rice with Mexican seasoning and cheese
***All served with a side of fresh sliced fruit and raw veggies


Snacks and Bakes Goods: 
Raw veggies with hummus or peanutbutter
Triscuits with raw or goat cheese
Muffins
Protein bars
Nuts and fruit
Bagels with cream cheese/peanut butter Baked Goods:
Bagels
Bread
Whole grain tortillas
Protein bars
Pizza crust
Cranberry-apple cobbler

Soup: (I make at least 2 soups per week to have on hand for quick lunches, dinner substitute, etc.)
Lentil soup
Creamy potato


Dinners
Spelt crust pizza/gourmet pizza nite

Mac n Cheese/chili

Mexican nite (chorizo, ground meat with taco seasoning, black beans and brown basmati rice, veggies (romaine, tomatoes, cilantro, onion, lime), raw cheese shredded)

Italian sausage, mashed sweet potatoes, glazed turnips, salad

Potato Soup, homemade bread, salad

Healthified Homemade Hamburger Helper, salad, steamed broccoli 

Italian Nite (this week is lasagna  for family - healthified, salad, eggplant parm for me, all with side of gently cooked broccoli) 

Burgers and homemade whole wheat buns, artisan sweet potato, red skin potato, and butternut squash fries, salad, garlic-lemon roasted brussel sprouts
